We provide non-attorney administrative support, prison-process information, document organization, typing and formatting of client-provided materials, public form and instruction location, family communication support, and reentry packet organization. We do not provide legal advice, legal representation, legal strategy, legal document drafting, or court filing services.
Can you prepare habeas, 2255, 2241, compassionate release, civil suit, appeal, or immigration filings?
No. Kent Consulting Group LLC does not prepare court motions, habeas petitions, 2255 motions, 2241 petitions, compassionate release motions, civil complaints, appeals, briefs, immigration filings, or legal arguments. We can type or format text written by the client, organize records and exhibits, and help locate public forms or public instructions. The client or a licensed attorney must decide the remedy, content, arguments, deadlines, court, and filing method.
Do you provide support for both federal and state prison-process matters?
Yes. We provide general prison-process information and administrative support for federal and state custody situations. We do not interpret judgments, determine legal eligibility, challenge sentences, give legal opinions, or act as anyone’s representative.
Are there packages available for ongoing administrative support?
Yes. We offer administrative-support packages for document organization, typing and formatting of client-provided materials, prison-process information, reentry packet organization, and family communication support. We do not offer ongoing legal guidance, legal strategy, legal advice, representation, or court filing services.
